Our History
Sonic Sanctuary Studios was founded in 2010 by Jake Harmon and Sarah Chen, two seasoned audio professionals with a shared dream of creating a world-class recording facility in the heart of Nashville. Jake, a Nashville native, brought years of experience as a mixing engineer and producer, having worked with some of the biggest names in country music. Sarah, originally from Los Angeles, added her expertise in sound design and post-production, honed through years of working on film and television projects.
Together, they envisioned a studio that would combine cutting-edge technology with a warm, inviting atmosphere. They spent months meticulously designing the studio spaces, selecting top-of-the-line equipment, and assembling a team of talented professionals who shared their passion for music and dedication to excellence. From humble beginnings in a small, rented space on Music Row, Sonic Sanctuary Studios has grown into a thriving hub for creative expression, attracting artists from across the country and around the globe.

Co-Founder and Lead Engineer

Sarah Chen
Co-Founder and Head of Production

Maria Rodriguez
Studio Manager

David Lee
Assistant Engineer
David is a recent graduate of Belmont University's audio engineering program. He is eager to learn from the best in the business, assisting Jake and Sarah with a variety of tasks, from setting up equipment to editing tracks. David is always ready to go the extra mile.
