Our Commitment to Accessibility

At Sonic Sanctuary Studios, located at 121 Demonbreun Street, Nashville, TN 37203, we believe that music should be accessible to everyone. We are dedicated to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all artists, regardless of their abilities. Our commitment extends to both our physical studio space and our website, ensuring that everyone can access our services and resources.

We are actively working to improve the accessibility of our studio and website, guided by the principles of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Our goal is to provide a seamless and equitable experience for all visitors, allowing them to focus on their creative endeavors without barriers.

We are continuously reviewing and updating our website to ensure it meets the latest accessibility standards and best practices. Our next planned update includes adding subtitles and transcripts for all video and audio content.

Physical Studio Accessibility Features

Sonic Sanctuary Studios is committed to making our physical studio space accessible to all artists. We have implemented the following features:

• Wheelchair Ramp: A wheelchair ramp provides access to the main entrance of the studio, ensuring that users with mobility impairments can easily enter the building.
• Accessible Restrooms: We have accessible restrooms equipped with grab bars and sufficient space for wheelchair maneuverability.
• Spacious Recording Rooms: Our recording rooms are designed with ample space to accommodate wheelchairs and other mobility devices.
• Adjustable Height Workstations: We offer adjustable height workstations in our mixing and mastering suites to accommodate users with varying needs.
• Assistive Listening Devices: Assistive listening devices are available upon request for users with hearing impairments. Please contact us in advance to ensure availability.
• Designated Parking Spaces: We have designated accessible parking spaces near the studio entrance for users with disabilities.
• Clear Pathways: All pathways within the studio are clear and free of obstructions to ensure safe and easy navigation.
• Visual Fire Alarms: Visual fire alarms are installed throughout the studio to alert users with hearing impairments in the event of an emergency.

We are currently exploring options for adding tactile signage and offering sign language interpretation services for studio sessions. We aim to complete these enhancements by the end of Q4 2025.
